Allows XP users to type a name, address or phone number into their documents and click on the InfoFinder Smart Tag to insert or look up the address(es) or map into their word document using web services on MSN.ca and MSN.com. Future Enhancement: Neighbourhood look-ups and additonal features to import contact information into Outlook and preform merges.
The OAG Smart Tag provides business travelers with a powerful new tool to access Worldwide real-time flight information from over 800 airlines. The OAG Smart Tag has been programmed to recognize the textual form of airline flight numbers. When a user has accessed an Office XP program such as "Word" and types the flight number it will be automatically highlighted and then offer a route into OAG.com for specific information relevant to the flight. The powerful OAG database will then provide the user with relevant information to that flight such as scheduled departure times, which terminal to go to, arrival times and event the type of aircraft being used for a particular flight. For selected key airlines, business travelers will also be able to check on whether the flight is on time or delayed.
Using SmartTag functionality, an user can retrieve documents from windream, while he is creating any MS Office-document. The XP recognizer automatically detects keywords in the document and offers linked documents with similar content using the SmartTag context menu. Linking document content and existing documents in windream replaces the manual retrieval process. This is a time-saver for users, who usually toggle between existing files and documents while creating new correspondence.
